US Women’s Open | Perfect Pairings

This week, we celebrate the US Women’s Open with Braised BBQ Short Ribs and a Paloma.
Braised BBQ Short ribs
1 lb Piedmontese beef short ribs
1/2 onion
1 large carrot
1 stalk celery
2 cloves garlic
1 sprig each rosemary and thyme
1 bay leaf
4 cup beef stock
Season short ribs with salt and pepper
Seat short ribs on high heat until golden brown
Remove from short ribs from the pan and add vegetables, garlic, herbs and bay leaf and sauté for 3 minutes
Add short ribs back in as well as your beef stock
Cover pan and cook in the oven at 350 for 4 hours or until meat is fork tender
Paloma
Combine grapefruit syrup, lime juice, grapefruit-infused tequila, grapefruit crema and ice. Shake well and poor into a glass rimmed with salt and chili powder, then top it off with the grapefruit soda.
