As the year comes to a close, music, podcast, and audiobook lovers are gearing up for their annual listening recap—an early holiday gift that reveals their top picks, trends, and listening habits, which they often share across social media for all to see.

We're talking about Spotify Wrapped and Apple Music Replay, of course. And just like major brands like Golf Digest and Golf.com, have jumped on the trend with their own versions, we thought, why not join the fun? Enter our spin on celebrating The Best of Dormie Network: 2024 Highlights

Looking back, it’s clear that a lot can happen in a year. But one thing we can always count on? Pure golf and genuine hospitality. From stunning new course designs to a record-breaking number of tees used, we've had a year full of memories we’ll never forget.

Without further ado, we’re counting down the top moments from the year, listed numerically from largest to smallest—no ranking, just a celebration of the milestones that made the 2024 golf community at Dormie Network unforgettable.

Golden Tee in the GrayBull Owner's Cottage

Uncountable rounds of Golden Tee were played in the Owner’s Cottages (and Dormie Network HQ).

Lest we say more.

550,000 Dormie tees were used.

Starting off strong. It’s safe to say we played golf. And we played a lot of it. We estimate that members and guests will have teed up 550,000 Dormie tees by year's end. That's 50,000 more than last year. With clubs in the Network open each season of the year, there’s plenty of opportunity to score a round when you need it most.

250,000 Dormie frosted cups were served.

Dormie Network's iconic frosted cups—always refreshing—saw 250,000 served in 2024. These cups are more than just a way to hydrate; they’ve become a souvenir to take home as a symbol of the Dormie experience. Whether it’s post-round or mid-game, members and guests stayed refreshed and ready for more. Let's keep that glass half full in 2025.

$201,000 was raised for Nebraska firefighting efforts.

In the wake of the Betty’s Way Fire that ravaged the area surrounding GrayBull Club in western Nebraska, Dormie Network Foundation launched a fundraising campaign to support local firefighting efforts. The Foundation committed to matching every donation up to $100,000, with the goal of equipping the Maxwell Volunteer Fire Department with the resources needed to protect the Sandhills region.

The community’s response was nothing short of extraordinary, surpassing all expectations. Thanks to the incredible generosity of supporters, we raised an astounding $201,000—more than double the original goal. This powerful outpouring of support serves as a reminder of the profound impact we can have when we come together, both on and off the course.

$27,600 was raised for hurricane relief.

When Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton struck, Dormie Network’s community once again showed its strength. Dormie Club donated hay bales from the field onsite to local farmers who were in desperate need for food for their animals. Dormie Network and Dormie Network Foundation launched a matching fundraiser. $13,800 was raised, which was then matched by Dormie Network, bringing the total to $27,600 for the American Red Cross.

6,200 beef sticks were devoured.

2024 was the year of hitting protein intake goals. And we did just that. In fact, 6,200 Certified Piedmontese Beef Sticks were consumed across all seven Dormie Network clubs. From mid-round fuel at the comfort station to late-night snack attacks in the cottages, it’s clear members have developed a serious love affair with Certified Piedmontese Beef Sticks. Let’s carry those health goals into 2025.

2,250 pounds of cattle treats were fed to Jack and Jose.

Briggs Ranch beloved longhorn mascots, Jack and Jose, are living their best lives. This year, they’ve been spoiled with 2,250 pounds of cattle treats—keeping them happy and healthy as they continue to roam the grounds and greet members with their signature charm. The dynamic duo hails from Silver Star Longhorn Ranch in Collinsville, Texas and joined the Briggs Ranch team in 2021.

48 Dormie Tour champions.

Let’s not forget about the 48 Dormie Tour champions. Congratulations are in order to these dedicated players who have played every course in the Network, showcasing their skill, sportsmanship, and love for the game. Congratulations to all champions—you’ve earned your place in Dormie history!

45 tons of divot sand was used.

The Gauntlet at Victoria National is known for raising heart rates and, occasionally, a less-than-perfect swing. That's just one contributing reason why 45 tons of divot sand/seed mix have been used to keep the greens in top shape. It’s a small reminder that no one is immune to the occasional chunk—and we appreciate everyone who takes the time to repair their divots!

18 Dormie Network events took place.

2024 was an eventful year, with 18 events held across all Dormie Network clubs. From member-guest tournaments to charitable fundraisers, these events fostered a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition. Each event boasts its own distinctive flair, promising a one-of-a-kind experience every time. A special shoutout to all the ladies who participated in the Ladies Member-Guest at ArborLinks. We look forward to even more memorable events in 2025!
