A Winning Foursome: Mark Ruhga, Chief Operations Officer
With over two decades of experience in golf management, Mark Ruhga has served in numerous capacities at facilities ranging from high-volume public courses to member-owned and privately held private clubs. In his over-20-year career with golf course construction and management company Landscapes Unlimited, Mark achieved unprecedented growth in top-line revenue and bottom-line results as a general manager. He became a key asset for Landscapes Unlimited’s management team, directing operations and facilitating everything from strategic planning to infrastructure upgrades.
In his current role as Dormie Network’s Chief Operations Officer, Mark plays a crucial role in large-scale strategic planning and day-to-day operations—all in line with the network’s short- and long-term vision to grow as a national portfolio of ultra-high-end clubs offering truly exceptional golf and hospitality.
“Dormie Network is making big waves in golf,” says Mark, who himself has been a Class A PGA member since 2001. “It’s a fairly simple concept that’s been surprisingly overlooked: a combination of premier hospitality and world-class golf consistently executed to the highest standards and on a national level.”
Mark works directly with general managers at each club to facilitate acquisitions, capital improvement projects, operating budgets, revenue growth, service training, and membership satisfaction.
"Pure golf meets unmatched hospitality," says Mark. "It’s that simple."
