Golf’s Leading Fundraising Platform, Member for a Day, Launches New Series “Golf for a Cause”

This new series sponsored by HERTZ is focused on showcasing the people, places, and charities that are using golf to change the world

After raising over $2,000,000 for a number of incredible charitable organizations since the inception of COVID, golf auction platform Member For A Day makes its foray into telling these unique stories with the support of HERTZ. Having launched successful auctions in support of the likes of the American Cancer Society Golf Fore Africa, The Ryan Callahan Foundation and numerous First Tee chapters, this new series will be highlighting those that are using golf to make a positive impact. The first episode goes live Thursday, November 4th at 8pm EST on the Member For A Day YouTube page. Each of these episodes have a corresponding charity auction component and for the first episode, Member For A Day will be auctioning off some once in a lifetime rounds of golf with legendary golf painter and artist Lee Wybranski prints from those very courses. In addition, the original piece of art that Lee Wybranski painted with Eric in Episode 1 we’ll be up for bid on the auction platform.

Back in May of 2020, Eric Sedransk launched a charity golf auction in support of New York City hospital frontline workers that raised over $101,000 in a week. Since then his platform “Member for a Day” has taken off as the leading fundraising platform both in and out of the golf industry. Brand and organizations have flocked to support Eric in helping change the world through golf with partners like Dormie Network, Garrison Bros., Travis Mathew, TROON, True Linkswear, Seamus & Jones Sport Company.

Join Eric as he travels the country highlighting the best stories at the intersection of charity and golf.

About Member For A Day:

At Member for a Day, we’re passionate about helping non-profits and charitable foundations exceed their fundraising goals by using the power of technology, social media, and golf. In May of 2020, we launched our first-ever charity golf auction and raised over $101,000 (in 1 week!) for Project Frontline which supports local restaurants by feeding hospital frontline workers in New York City that were affected by COVID-19. After the success of this auction, we’ve created a platform to help non-profit and charitable foundations reach and exceed their fundraising goals. We work with organizations large and small to supercharge donation revenue with our innovative white-glove services. To date we’ve raised nearly 2 million for charity, and we’re just getting started!
